Spring Gatherings: Mental well-being at the artistic educational institutions
Why do more and more students experience anxiety and other challenges in their daily life at the art schools? How does this affect the possibilities for their access and participation in the educational systems? And how can we talk about the creative process as vulnerable?

We take a closer look at stigmatization and taboo, and explores the boundaries between the personal, collective and/or societal responsibility, when asking the question: how does competition and career affect our mental well-being?

Together with both artists and doctors in the field of Psychiatry we will explore what art and psychiatry can teach us about getting well.

The event is presented in collaboration with the Association for Art and Mental Health (Foreningen Kunst og Mental Sundhed)

The panel consist of moderator Pablo Llambias (writer, teacher at The Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen), Birgit Bundesen (Senior Consultant at Mental health care center Amager, leading The Assiciation for Art and Mental Health), Anna Rieder (writer, mental health consumer) and Anna Wærum Hansen (student at RMC, mental health consumer).

#5: Mental sundhed på de kunstneriske uddannelsesinstitutioner (PUBLIC)
28. april kl. 16 – 20
